Michael Matthews

Michael is the CEO of P5 Ventures, Inc., which specializes in business development, training, and project management.

Michael has led community initiatives addressing environmental inequities within urban communities and those targeting public and personal health disparities. Michael also facilitated strategic planning processes for government agencies, corporations, and community-based organizations, led board development sessions for nonprofits and educational institutions. managed organizations with annual agency budgets from two million dollars to over nine million dollars.

Michael received training in the Youth Works Methods and Management Training of Trainers (David P. Weikart Center for Youth Development), the Big Picture Approach to Comprehensive Youth Development (Forum for Youth Investment), Diversity and Inclusion (Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio), and Executive Leadership and Community Coaching (Coachnet Global).

Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Michael is a former varsity student-athlete at the University of Miami, Florida where he became a fraternal brother of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and was selected as a member of Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.
