Biography
Donna currently serves as executive director of the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Foundation (GCUFF). In 2012, she spearheaded the idea to launch a film festival to GCUFF and then served in a volunteer capacity as the festival organizer, film acquisition specialist, and chief programmer until 2019 when she was officially hired as Executive Director. Donna previously served as a Director of the Small Business Administration’s SBDC ( Small Business Development Center) in Ohio for over 8 years helping entrepreneurs build profitable and sustainable businesses. She has also has held management and leadership positions in large corporations for over 25 years. In addition to her professional pursuits, she is vice president of the Society of Urban Professionals (SOUP, Inc.), a networking organization that provides event planning and marketing advice to local professionals. Donna is active in the community and currently serves on the board and advisory committee of several local organizations including Karamu House, the African American Quilt and Doll Guild, and the Buck Out Cleveland Dance organization.
